Raising the visibility of key bioethics issues by organizing national events, such as the recent panel presentation on Ethics of Mandatory Vaccination.
Connecting the bioethics community in innovative ways throughout the calendar year, such as through the Conversations in Canadian Bioethics, a multi-series of virtual events that proposes a critical engagement with major bioethical issues.
Inspiring a long-standing commitment for effecting positive social change through the establishment of the Anti-Oppression and Anti-Racism Working Group.
Empowering the bioethics community with opportunities for localized and cross-national discussion around critical bioethical issues during our annual conference and National Health Ethics Week.
Circulating a regular newsletter to keep members of the bioethics community informed of key events and initiatives.
Engaging with other national organizations, such as CAPHE-ACCESS and CAREB-ACCER, to enhance our collective efforts to promote high quality, thoughtful dialogue around health issues that affect Canadians.
Creating opportunities for the next generation of Canadian bioethicists through student engagement and professional development through workshops and key events.
