Learning objectives
– Define Conflicts of Interest: Participants will be able to clearly define what constitutes a conflict of interest in research settings, including the various types and sources of potential conflicts.
– Recognize Implications: Attendees will understand the ethical implications of conflicts of interest, including how undisclosed conflicts can affect research integrity, public trust, and the validity of findings.
– Implement Disclosure Practices: Participants will learn best practices for disclosing conflicts of interest, including policies and protocols to follow within PHSA, to promote transparency and accountability in research.
