STUDENTS: Any student must present a valid student ID upon arrival in order to receive the discounted student rate. The CBS Student Representatives encourage student attendees to book rooms in Howe Hall in order to facilitate networking and community building.

Accessibility for the 2018 CBS Conference

Physical Access: The Marion McCain Arts and Science Building at Dalhousie where conference sessions are hosted is accessible for participants with mobility impairments.Access to washrooms and breakout rooms does involve use of an elevator.  For accessibility of other buildings on the Dalhousie campus please see: https://www.dal.ca/campus-maps/accessibility.html

Information availability: The program will be printed and also available online.  Please let us know if you need alternate formats.

Wi-Fi: Participants will have access to Dalhousie’s wireless network using an individual access code, available upon registration.

Scents and smoke: Dalhousie University has a scent-free program (https://www.dal.ca/dept/safety/programs-services/occupational-safety/scent-free.html) and a smoke-free policy (https://www.dal.ca/dept/safety/programs-services/occupational-safety/smoke-free.html).  We expect participants to respect these while attending the CBS conference.
